Don't you hate when you have so many things you could do and you can't decide which one is more important? Like when I got home from work this afternoon. I sat down on the couch and thought, "Man, I should really clean up this place." (Sick days=incredibly messier than usual apartment.) Then I thought, "No, I have to finish that Christmas present because I have a deadline." Then I thought, "But I should really take a nap so I don't take a turn for the worse tomorrow because of over-exertion (which I'm prone to do)." And I ended up just looking at blogs.
Now, I know you probably think I'm still procrastinating, but I'm not. This is just a brief exercise to get creative juices flowing again. And because I just need to clear my brain before anything else can get done.
Do you know what happened last week? Basketball season started!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So excited. Love basketball. :) I love writing basketball stories on deadline and hearing the chanting from the crowd, the bright lights on the Marriott Center floor, the squeak of shoes on the floor's polished surface. I love having popcorn to munch on during the game and Norma getting excited when the score is too close at the end. *Sigh* Ah, basketball. I've missed you so.
Volleyball ends this week. :( I'm kind of sad and kind of relieved, just because I've been doing three or four games a week now that basketball has started. I'll miss it though. I really hope I'm back next year.
Well, back to getting things done! Oh, and just in case anybody wanted to know, there are nine days until Thanksgiving and 40 days until Christmas! Love November!
