New Apartment

We officially have a new apartment!!! Woohoo!!! Yesterday the landlady inspected our old apartment and said she was so grateful that we cleaned the place so well. :) Thanks to my parents and Breena for helping out! Who knew it would take so long to clean that tiny thing?

Now we get to focus on organizing, because right now every room looks like it got hit with a small tornado. Jeff has put together a couple of shelves for us, so I've been able to put DVDs and books away, and there are more shelves waiting to be built for clothes and food storage and stuff. But we have TV! That's the important thing, right? ;) The dish packages were kind of funny, so we had to buy a big package in order to get all the important channels.... Like, the channels the BYU football games will be on and Food Network and the important news channels. So....basically if you don't have a channel you want to watch, you can come over. lol. Now to get Internet access....

I can't decide which part of our new apartment is my favorite. I loooooooove how big it is. It's enormous compared to the other one. I love the counter space. :) And the second bedroom, which will become my first sewing room. :D I also really like the fact that we will soon have a washer and dryer. Unfortunately the kind we wanted was on back order, so we won't get them until the end of the month. Oh, well. That's what Mom and Dad's house is for. ;)

I also can't wait until we get the couch covered. It's a really old couch that looks really, really dirty and smells.... It used to be my great-grandma's, so it was free, but I don't think I'd let anybody sit on it as it is. We're going to make a really cute cover for it, though, and get new cushions. So it will be wonderful. I can't wait for my cute new living room!
