Trying to make this a non-stop social media day...

So, the last thing I should want to do today is write a blog post. I've been uploading pictures to blog posts and editing blog posts all day long. Not to mention I've been tweeting and keeping track of tweets and basically all other social media things mentioning #BYUMediaDay. It was a blast, but who knew using social media all day long could be so tiring? lol.

This is pretty much the fruit of our labor: the Media Day Central page. (By "our" I mean the athletic comms team.) I know it doesn't look like much, but all of those links and quotes took all day to compile.

Before everything kicked off, I had a little scare. One of my coworkers texted me and said the athletic director, the big man himself, wanted to talk to me. Ah! I didn't even think he knew who I was! So I went downstairs and found him, all the time wondering what I'd done, good or bad, to make him want to talk to me. It turned out he'd just seen a copy of the volleyball schedule and wanted to make sure that I put a university's name on the schedule correctly. I assured him I hadn't posted it yet and would put the right name. lol. A little anticlimactic, I know, but it was crazy and random and out of the blue for me.

In other wonderful news, we finally got our washer and dryer!!!
Da, da, da, DA! I can't tell you the depth of my excitement to have these big guys in our home. Granted, they're a little bit bigger than I imagined, so that they practically take up the whole bathroom. Not to mention the mirror-like silver color around the door makes regular bathroom tasks slightly awkward. But, no matter! :) Love, love, love them. Who knew someone could get so excited about a washer and dryer?

So, I'm posting a tutorial soon! Not today, because as I said I should really be banned from any further social media use for the day. Or any Internet use, for that matter. Heck, I should be banned from screen time in general because being at the broadcasting building all day long, one can't help but watch TV. So, that means the really simple dress tutorial/pattern-making tutorial will be posted.... Maybe tomorrow with some more fun pictures and fun, not-baby-announcement news. :) (Just have to clarify, because any time I say I have news or I'm tired or hungry or have allergies, someone assumes I'm pregnant. lol.)

  1. Three cheers for laundry! And babies! I wouldn't say I would mind that kind of announcement. I may cry - fair warning.
