Dear World,
It seems that instead of growing up, you're growing down. Perhaps we can reverse this disturbing trend?
Thanks!
Sincerely,
A future (but not too-near future) mom
Sometimes I read or watch the news and want to throw my hands up in the air and give up because I don't know how the world could get any more evil. And then I read the news the next day and it did. :P And we're supposed to bring children into this world? This is not going to be a fun environment to raise a family in. And we don't even have kids yet. (Nor is there an announcement in the works, for the record. It's going to be a little while before that can happen. Sorry, Mom.)
I'm just grateful to have the gospel of Christ in my life and to be a member of a church that makes an eternal family the most important goal. I don't know if I'd even try if I didn't have the gospel. I'm also grateful because if we didn't have the gospel they probably wouldn't have started BYU, which means my parents would never have met and I'd been in a very different position AND I wouldn't have met Jeff. :) That's probably a less important reason, but still very true.
Y Awards Tuesday... And everything is officially done! At least, I think it is. Everything on my checklist is done, anyway. And my mom made me a pretty dress to wear for it. (It was actually meant to be an Easter dress, but when I tried it on today we realized she needed to make some adjustments...) I love it, because it's a 50s silhouette, but with a little modern flare in the pattern on the fabric.
