Gratitude Day 5

Here are a few things I'm grateful for today.

Laughter. Because sometimes it's better than crying and sometimes those are the only two options. Like when you're stupid and heat a glass dish up to 400 degrees and then pour water in it. And it explodes. All over the oven.

Jeff, because he didn't say "I told you so" after I poured water into the glass dish and it exploded, which was after he told me that it wasn't that good of an idea. (And because he said it in a "seriously?" kind of tone, I wanted to prove a point and didn't stop to think that he might be the one who actually has a point.) He laughed with me and proceeded to clean up all of the glass. I just wanted to make the bread bowls crispy, and steam makes them crispy, hence the dish filled with water in the oven. I forgot that if you're using a glass dish, you put the water in before you heat it up. :) Oopsie.

I'm almost finished with our family crest! Like, I have all the drawing done. I just need to make all the lines darker and clean up the guidelines and stuff. Happy!
