I'm grateful

I'm grateful to have a job and I'm grateful that the volleyball team won, because it's always much happier at my job when my team wins. Today the LMU SID thanked me for beating them in three, because "if your team's going to lose, you might as well get it over with quickly." Haha. So true. But 23-2. Amazing, guys.

I'm grateful for good friends and the fun times we have. So sad they're all leaving in the next six months.

I'm grateful for Jeffrey and specifically for how well he can calm me down and remind me that I still do enjoy certain aspects of my life that sometimes I think I hate.

I'm grateful for the country that I live in and that we're able to vote and tell the nation what we believe. I'm grateful that other Americans think that voting is as important as I do. I didn't mind standing in line yesterday for about an hour, because I thought about how cool it was that all these people were willing to wait in line to vote and contribute to this country.

I'm grateful for books, and especially for good writers. There is nothing so powerful as a great writer. Books are such a wonderful relief from reality when reality is not so fun sometimes.

I'm grateful for AP style and for people who know how to use it. Nerd, I know.
