Gratitude Challenge

I don't usually do challenges, but given my current state of being I think it would be good for me. :)

- Today I'm thankful for my visiting teachers who brought dinner over last night. Last night was the second day of my week-long work marathon. I felt bad asking for dinner, because both of my visiting teachers have babies and they probably have way more on their plate than I do. But from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed last night, I was so exhausted I couldn't think straight. I'm glad last night's basketball game was only an exhibition game, because I couldn't focus and I had a huge stress headache (like I've had almost every day the past month). So having somebody else worry about dinner and be so willing and happy to do something like bring dinner was amazing. And it made me feel like, "Oh, somebody actually realizes and cares that I'm in over my head with work." (Besides Jeff, of course. But he's got so much going on in his life right now there's only so much he can do...) I'm choking up just thinking about it. lol. So grateful for those girls.

- I get the day off! Mostly. I still have basketball tonight, but that's not until 7 p.m. I got an extra hour of sleep (I don't sleep in very well...), had a big breakfast, finished up some volleyball stuff, worked on our family coat of arms, and now I'm going to work out, get ready, vote and maybe get some laundry done while working on Christmas presents. We'll see. :) But my goal for today is to be relaxed and not worry or stress about anything. Maybe a relaxation day, combined with Jeff working out the knots in my shoulders and neck, will make the headaches go away.

- It's November! I don't know why, but the idea that it's already November makes me so happy. I guess I don't like October. lol. That means the holidays are getting close, which means time off work and time with family.

Well, that's my first day of things I'm grateful for. Let's see if I can keep it up every day. :)
